5 and under

Marvel Cave :

This is the cave that Silver Dollar City is built on, and it offers guided tours that explore the natural wonders of the underground world. Kids can see stalactites, stalagmites, and other formations, as well as learn about the history and legends of the cave.

Homestead Animal Barnyard

This is a petting zoo with animals such as goats, chickens, hens, and other farm animals. Kids can feed and pet the animals, and learn about their care and habits.

Half Dollar Holler

This is a play and ride area designed for younger kids, with a treehouse, a sandbox, a mini train, and other attractions. Kids can have fun and use their imagination in this area.

Kids Ages 5-10

Culinary Classes :

These are 60-minute classes that teach kids how to make different dishes, such as Thai noodles, lemon bread, and more. Kids can watch the cooking demonstration, get a copy of the recipe, and taste the food. The classes are held at the Midwest Living® Culinary & Craft School.

Grandfather’s Mansion :

This is a funhouse with wacky illusions and stunts, such as tilted rooms, moving floors, and mirrors. Kids can have a laugh and a thrill in this attraction.

Family Shows

Silver Dollar City has a variety of live shows that entertain and educate kids, such as Sadie’s Wild West Traveling Revue, a musical comedy show that features cowboys, horses, and dogs; and The Living Nativity, a musical drama that tells the story of the birth of Jesus.

Age 12 to teenage children

Fire in the Hole :

This is a kid-friendly ride that takes guests on a dark and mysterious journey through an Ozark town that is under attack by mysterious Baldknobbers. Frisco Silver Dollar Line Steam Train :

This is a 20-minute train ride that takes guests around the park and through the woods. Kids can enjoy the scenery and the narration, as well as the occasional train robbery by outlaws.

Artisans :

Silver Dollar City has many artisans that demonstrate their crafts and skills, such as blacksmithing, glass blowing, pottery, and more. Kids can watch and learn from these craftsmen, and even buy some of their products.
