Zoo’s are always a special treat for families of all ages.. They are even extra special for kids as they get to see animals that they may have only seen in books or their favorite cartoon.. Parent’s love zoo’s for much of the same reason’s but they also love to go to a nice zoo that has animals that are well cared for in habitats that imitate their natural surroundings.. Branson’s Promised Land Zoo is that type of magical place that brings all that is good about nature to life and even at your fingertips!
Hundreds of endangered animals can be seen all throughout the zoo.. Take the “Foot Safari” and see animals in their habitat, engage in live interactive animal shows or even head to the petting zoo and get the change to pet and feed some of your favorite animals. You can even bottle feed animals and feed birds in “Parakeet Paradise.”

How Long Does It Take To Tour The Promised Land Zoo?
That all depend on how much time that you would like to visit each exhibit at the zoo.. You can go at your own pace and enjoy your time there at your own leisure. If you have a schedule that you have to meet, you can get a taste of the entire zoo in two hours.

At the time of this posting Live Animal Shows are on Saturdays at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3PM. On Sundays the Live Animal Shows are at 11:00 AM and 3PM

Can You Bottle Feed Animals With Your Price of Admission?
YES! You are allowed (at select times.. 10AM, 2PM and 6PM) to bottle feed baby camels, zebras, watusi, goats, deer and more.
What kinds of animals will you see while walking on the “Foot Safari”?
While subject to change throughout the season you can view exotic animals like baboons, spider monkeys, lemurs, big cats, small cats, etc.. You will also encounter animals like porcupines, capybaras, and deer. Examples of animals you will see in the petting zoos are goats and alpacas.
Can you feed the animals?
It depends.. You are allowed to feed certain animals throughout the zoo.. The food that you can feed them is limited to the food purchased from the Zoo.
In Parakeet Paradise you will be given one parakeet stick for feeding of the birds. The parakeet feeding stick is included in your price of admission. You can buy 2 extra feeding sticks for only one dollar!
